...Being surrounded by drunken yobs down the back thus ruining george's set for me, I left after 4 songs to see Decoder Ring play on The Hopetoun Stage. There was about 100 people inside the tent but for a relatively small band playing against the likes of george, You Am I, Killing Heidi and 1200 Techniques it was a good and enthusiastic turnout. I was only able to catch their last three songs but The White Tiger to close with was just incredible. I don't know if it was the copious amounts of second hand pot smoke that I had inhaled over the course of the day but the projections that accompany their set were more mesmerising then the last time I saw them...
